Day in and day out, Rose (Rosie) does an amazing job supporting communications districtwide. This ducky is in honor of all the work she does, but in particular, for the work she does for the capital projects department.
From her work supporting the Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC), to helping us in “keeping our promise” through all of her publications, to her role in organizing ground-breaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies. That is just her day-to-day work that she carries off professionally and with pride.
Rosie is committed with heart and soul to our Highline students. She has been instrumental in two successful grant submissions, netting two $250,000 grants to support the construction of a new synthetic turf football/soccer field on the Evergreen campus. The frosting on the cake: Rosie applied for another grant from King County Parks to fund the installation of lighting at the new turf field on the Evergreen campus that netted an additional $200,000.
Rosie always shares credit generously, never tooting her own horn. Her relentless attention to detail ensures that anything she works on will be done excellently. She expends extra effort on everything she does to make sure it is the best it can possibly be. Her dedication to our community is exceptional, and she is personally invested in giving our community voice.
Rosie is my hero!
