Michael Kamin

Michael Kamin, Secondary Literacy Specialist

Michael serves secondary schools in leadership, instruction, collaboration, and coaching.  Michael supports schools in standards-based curriculum development for ELA and Bridge to College courses, training for literacy supports such as LLI and Fountas & Pinnell Reading Benchmark Assessment, use of district literacy assessment tools, and has experience supporting teachers in various contexts such as IB, AP, and blended ELL classes.  He facilitates literacy professional development sessions & studios, professional learning communities focused on planning and student work, individualized coaching and team coaching, and any literacy support in service of a culture of learning for all students.

She also coordinate community partners connected to a Social Studies field of study.
