  • Whether the event seemed beneficial
  • Was this an event you would like to see at your school

Suggestions were provided on how to improve these events from our Family Action Committee (FAC). Their ideas were incorporated into the events below.

Objective:

To engage and collaborate with families to support building leadership, capacity and knowledge around school systems, programs, curriculum, technology, math strategies, social-emotional learning, family partnership, common core, etc. Provides an opportunity to ask the principal and assistant principal questions.

Objective: 

Create positive experiences for families that bring them into the school and classrooms to support the development of parents as partners with the school; Teach parents how to integrate visual art practices into their practice.

Provides specific opportunities for parents to learn and strengthen their abilities to support students learning and growth at school, at home, and our Kindergarten community

Builds home to school connections where families feel supported by school staff

Provides tools to directly apply strategies and information to better support their child's needs (personal connections).
