kim dunn hawthorne

Kim Dunn-Hawthorne, Director of Health & Social Services


Kim manages the team of RNs and LPNs to coordinate and provide health and social services to promote a healthy school community in order to maximize educational outcomes. Kim also serves as the district's 504 Coordinator in addition to supervising McKinney-Vento, Foster Care, & Medicaid Claiming programs. Kim works with community Mental Health and Medical service providers delivering services in our community and schools.

Elaine Irons-Hunt

Elaine Irons-Hunt, Lead Nurse


Elaine assists with a wide range of routine and complex staffing and department workflow issues. She coordinates with a variety of disciplines and agencies in assuring continuity of health services and department program needs. Elaine also provides leadership in the delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving, mentorship, orientation and team building for the department. 

Lauren Thompson

Lauren Thompson, Compliance Manager


Lauren assists the Director to assure correct processing for the health & social services programs, including serving as the liaison between the department, Business Services, Human Resources and school staff. She provides training, management and technical support for all IT programs used by staff. She is responsible for tracking and maintaining compliance with 504, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, and assists in the grant application and implementation of the McKinney-Vento program

Pamela Keller

Pamela Keller, Administrative Secretary


Pamela provides assistance to the Director of Health & Social Services. Pamela is a point of contact for schools and the community for health and social support needs. Contact Pamela with questions about nurse scheduling, staff payroll, and general health and social services concerns for routing.  Pamela also provides general office support for the department.  

Antonio Lewis, McKinney-Vento Liaison


Antonio oversees the McKinney-Vento (MV) process and compliance services for our students and families that are in transition or homeless. He is the liaison to the state compliance auditors at OSPI. He is responsible for coordinating services such as transportation and free nutrition for McKinney-Vento-qualified students. He works with community partners, social workers, transportation, and many others to bring the services and resources to the MV students that will help remove barriers to their education.
