Washington State Ethnic Studies Assembly

Register for the 2nd Annual Washington State Ethnic Studies Assembly on June 27 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Hosted by Washington Ethnic Studies Now (WAESN), learn how to advance anti-racist education and ethnic studies in your classroom. 

WAESN is a non-profit dedicated to advancing anti-racist education and ethnic studies in our state and beyond.

The assembly will take place virtually and feature:

  • Washington State NAACP Youth Council
  • Dr. Curtis Acosta, a former teacher in the Tucson Raza Studies Program, which is the only program in the nation to close academic outcome gaps.
