Seeking Staff Input
To support our planning for reopening schools this fall, we need to better understand your needs as we shift from remote work to returning to school buildings.
We have two upcoming opportunities for staff to learn more about our plans and to provide input.
For fall 2020, students and families will have the option of participating in one of two models for school:
- A hybrid model.
- A full-time virtual academy experience.
Please take 20 minutes to complete the appropriate survey below for the fall 2020 planning. Surveys will remain open until July 20.
Please complete the survey as soon as possible so responses may be addressed in the upcoming staff-focused webinars. Only trends, not individual responses, will be shared publicly.
These surveys are meant to gather information to plan, not for staff to make a final commitment. We understand the pandemic is evolving.
Please save the date for optional staff webinars scheduled for Wednesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 29. The webinars will be one hour long and will address questions and provide resources.
Please plan to attend your group’s time slot on both July 15 and July 29. You will receive a calendar invitation for your webinar. Zoom meeting links are also below. Webinars are run by Human Resources.
Staff are not required to attend. Staff will have access to the webinar recordings as well as the information and resources shared through the staff hub.

HEA staff will receive two invitations for each day. Please accept one invitation for July 15 and one invitation for July 29.
Next Steps in Planning
We will ask more detailed questions in August as we finalize who is returning to in-person work and who will continue to work remotely and/or take leave. Thank you for your participation and engagement.
