King County Metro is once again offering current Highline Public Schools students free summer ORCA cards. Students in grades 8-12 are eligible for a free ORCA card if they qualify for free and reduced-priced meals. ORCA cards enable students to take unlimited trips during the summer to get to their summer job and activities.
The program will run June 10 through September 9.
How students can pick up their free ORCA card:
If a student is currently in 9th through 12th grade, they can pick up an application from their school’s front office or print an application from the King County ORCA program page to turn into their school’s front office.
If a student is currently in 8th grade, they can pick up an application from the high school they will attend within Highline Public Schools for the 2019-20 school year or print an application from the King County ORCA program page to turn into their future high school’s front office.
