Approaching Deadline: Vaccination Verification

If you have not submitted verification that you have been vaccinated for COVID-19, now is the time. To protect staff and students and keep schools open, the state is requiring all school employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain a religious or medical exemption by October 18.

If you haven't already received the vaccine, you have less than two weeks to get it. You must be fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption to continue working in Highline Public Schools or any Washington state school district.

The COVID-19 vaccine can protect you from the Delta variant and is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID.

Verify that you have been vaccinated by uploading a photo of your vaccine card or other documentation into Frontline Central or bringing it to Central Office.

Here is a visual guide to official Washington state proof of COVID-19 vaccination with examples of valid verification.

Digital Verification

Follow these instructions to submit your verification electronically using a desktop, laptop or cell phone.

  1. Log into Frontline Central.
    • If you have never logged into Frontline Central, use these instructions to register for an account.
  2. Once signed into your account, select My Forms.
  3. Select the form titled COVID-19 Vaccination Verification.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the form and upload your verification.
    • Accepted file types include Word, JPG, and PDF.  Please ensure your full name is visible on the verification.

In-person Verification

If you are unable to upload your verification in Frontline Central, you may present your proof of vaccination with a picture ID to the Central Office receptionist Monday - Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Getting the COVID-19 Vaccination

To be fully vaccinated by October 18, you must be at least 14 days past the last dose of your COVID-19 vaccine regimen by the date listed in the chart below. If you are not vaccinated yet, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is the only one that will allow you to meet the deadline.

Use the Washington COVID-19 Vaccine Finder to find a vaccination clinic near you or use the vaccination resources found on the Staff Hub.

A religious or medical exemption may be granted for individuals who either hold sincere religious beliefs which are contrary to the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine or have a doctor-verified at-risk status that prevents vaccination. Documentation for exemptions will be sent directly to those who indicate a need on the COVID-19 Vaccination Verification form. The district will carefully review all requests for vaccine exemptions. After your request has been reviewed and processed, you will be notified if an exemption has been granted or denied.

Governor Inslee's directive requires the COVID-19 vaccine or an approved exemption as a condition for continued employment. Highline Public Schools and our Board of Directors do not have local control over this matter. We are legally required to follow the Governor’s directive.
