Please take a quick survey that will provide us with information on how we can best support teacher navigation and use of digital tools for planning and support of student learning. These are tools that teachers can use to engage with students, share activities and collaborate with colleagues.
Feedback from these surveys will be used by Teaching and Learning to determine training needs as we work and plan for long-term support for our students during their time away from classroom instruction.
During the school closure, all IEP meetings should be conducted remotely by phone or Zoom meetings.
Our Teaching, Learning & Leadership team is working on resources to reduce learning loss and support independent learning. Digital learning resource links are posted on our website. Family login guides were sent to families via email last week. Login guides can also be accessed in the Teaching & Learning Resource Center on Canvas.
Additionally, non-digital learning resources for grades K-5 will be available starting Wednesday afternoon at school meal distribution sites.
Comcast is offering its Internet Essentials program free to new customers for 60 days. All new customers will receive a free self-install kit that includes a cable modem and WiFi router. There is no term contract.
