Employees who are at higher risk for severe illness, according to CDC guidelines (see list at bottom) are not expected to physically report to a worksite in order to perform the following tasks. Remote work expectations still apply.
- Provide childcare
- Food distribution
- Work which does not ensure social distancing of six feet
The list of excused activities will be updated with changes in identified work needs throughout the district. In addition, employees under doctor’s orders or residing with someone under a doctor’s order to quarantine are excused from physically reporting to a worksite.
For the serious chronic medical conditions, self-attestation is sufficient and does not require medical certification.

- Older adults (60 years of age, and over) : HR will identify all adults over the age of 60 as of May 1, 2020.
- Identified serious, chronic medical conditions:
- heart disease
- lung disease
- Those who are currently pregnant
