Learning Platforms and Communications Tools
Core 4
Core 4 are the tools that serve as the foundation for distance learning. These tools all serve a different purpose. Learn more below.
Elementary Learning Platform - SeeSaw
What is SeeSaw?
Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links.
Secondary Learning Platform - Google Classroom
What is Google Classroom?
Google Classroom enables teachers to create an online classroom area in which they can manage all the documents that their students need.
Synchronous Learning - Zoom
What is Zoom?
Zoom will be used for live, synchronous learning.
Asynchronous Learning - Screencastify
WHat is Screencastify?
Screencastify is the simplest way to create high-quality screencasts from right within your browser.
Communications Tools
Here are some ways to communicate with your families.
Synergy
Message families through their ParentVUE app in multiple languages. When the message is sent, it goes to the app and to the email on file for the parent/guardian.
Phone Calls
Call families by using an app that may either block Caller ID or use a number that does not appear as a school district number.
Remind
Allows teachers to send quick updates to families through text message or the Remind app. This allows families to respond back through text messaging.
More Technology Resources

ClassLink
ClassLink is a single sign on (SSO) platform that will serve as a centralized portal for staff and students. This has not launched yet. More information to come soon.
