Remote Instruction

Please use this following instructional guidance and supports for teachers of elementary remote classrooms for the 2021-22 school year.  Additional instructional guidance for any temporary remote learning needs for in-person learning can be found here.

Elementary Instructional Guidance

In general, our remote classrooms will follow similar instructional models and schedules as in-person classrooms, using adopted curricular resources and suggested pacing in service of a Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum.

Elementary Remote Instruction Teacher Supports

As with in-person instruction, collaboration with grade level and/or remote instruction peers serve as the best resources for day-to-day supports and resources. School based specialists, counselors, and administrators are additional valuable on-site resources.

The Teaching, Learning, and Leadership and Family Engagement teams are also here to support principals and teachers in implementing remote instruction. The following contacts, supports, and resources may be shared with remote classroom teachers and support staff. New to Highline teachers are also encouraged to reach out to Zanovia Clark, peer mentor, with any questions or needs.

Administrators, teachers, and teams are also encouraged to access the resources below in support of remote instruction for 2021-22.
